@nandtpolitics @charmcitylwy @RedMaryland Oil prices go down during a lack of demand. Gas prices are usually related to crude oil but the MD gas tax is a flat rate of .35/gallon of gas. The tax revenue per gallon doesn’t change on cost but if there are less gallons being used, there are less taxes collected.

It’s the job of government to provide roads and the responsibility of those that wear them down to replenish them.
