The issue that makes me want to run with my family is the schools. Now that both my kids have had difficulties in “good” schools, I’m not sure what keeps us here.
Oh yeah, the low taxes.

@eric_hontz @timmyintransit This is 100% a policy issue that could be addressed in two weeks but instead, they’re looking into “revamping” it.
Easy fix: don’t close a ticket until addressed or until submitter is contacted.

Mix in elected officials who are either looking up or away and you get today’s Baltimore.
I wish I knew the solution but the reality is only we can fix this with cooperation amount residents and holding our elected leaders accountable or voting them out.

That’s my summary of what’s wrong with Baltimore: Unaccountability. Combine that with a commuter employee base of non-city residents and you get a tragic combination of Apathy and Unaccountability.
